Framing

  Framing can provide your artwork with more than an attractive setting; it can provide protection, helping to increase the long life of your painting, photograph, or print. Conservation framing is the use of materials and techniques that guard against harmful environmental factors such as sunlight, humidity, heat, airborne pollutants, and gravity. Conservation framing may include acid-free materials, uv glazing, museum grade glazing, specialty mountings, shadow boxes, or sealed enclosures with humidity monitors/controls.

  Aurora Art Conservation offers museum quality framing services. We will work with the customer to customize the housing for your piece, offering a range of frame stocks, mats, and glazing to design individual solutions for each artwork.

We provide museum-quality shipping crates, specifically designed and engineered for the needs of your artwork and the type of travel it will experience. Our designer is experienced with both domestic and international crate guidelines, and has crated a variety of artworks from oil paintings to glass objects.
