Aurora Art Conservation Is owned and operated by Eileen Sullivan. Eileen received a Masters of Arts Degree and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Art Conservation from Buffalo State College. Her background also includes a Masters of Arts Degree in Art History from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Syracuse University. Her focus in the conservation of paintings has been supported by training with professionals at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and The Shelburne Museum, as well as professionals in private practice in the Western New York region. In 2010 she was awarded a Kress Fellowship by the Cleveland Museum of Art, where she completed an analysis and conservation treatment of the museum’s Annunciation by Paolo Veronese. She is a Professional Afiliate with AIC, the national organization for conservation professionals.
